Glock Disassembly Steps - The Glock 19 is one of America's most popular handguns, and with good reason. Reliable, accurate, and easy to maintain, it's the defender's gun of choice for everyone from snipers to special operators. But it needs to be cleaned and smoothed in a timely manner. We will show you how to clean a glock 19 in the following video and transcript.
Kevin: I'm here with Jeff Street. Jeff is the owner and head instructor of Graduate Gun Training, and is also a certified Glock gunsmith and a bit of a Glock fanatic. So Jeff, my first question for you is how often do people clean their glock 19? We hear a lot of different things about it. How did you see it?
Glock Disassembly Steps
Jeff: If you're new to the Glock platform, you really need to clean it every time you use it. To help convince you that anything can be seen and felt when it's right. That way, if something goes wrong on the track, you can fix it, maybe before you have a real problem on the beach.
How To Clean A Glock
Kevin: You'll know right away that the source doesn't have to be in two pieces. You don't need to see a piece of metal that has to break the world. It is obvious that it will be so.
Kevin: Now, if you're new to the gun, that's how often you clean it. What if you're a more skilled shooter? If you have two types, how often should you clean?
Jeff: Well, you haven't just taken two courses over the years. Well, I have friends who always clean their glocks all the time. It costs nothing to keep it clean. It's something you depend on, so why not clean it up a little once in a while?
Kevin: Well, Jeff. So when someone becomes a shooter and they want to go home and clean their glock 19, what should they do to unload it? We have one thing here to unload. We both checked. There's also a small barrel locked up there, so we know it's on display for sure. So let's walk through it.
Tested: Ruger Security 9 Vs Glock 19
Jeff: First, make sure there's no live ammo in the room, unless you have something here (your gun). You open the bag and glance at it before touching the gun to make sure the muzzle is in place. Then you have to pull out the magazine, if the magazine is there, then you push the magazine trigger, pull out the magazine, find out it's empty.
Jeff: Now when I go to touch a gun, I do it in my bathroom and I have a toilet in my bathroom. I have a bathroom even though I'm in a hotel room. I pulled the gun all the way without touching the trigger and pointed at the toilet bowl so that, if it left, the bullet would go into the water, where it would hit the porcelain; stay there He would break the toilet, which I don't want to do. I had to turn off the water tap to keep the house from flooding, and I had to call my plumber, so I was very emotional not to. Then I said it three times, and of course I put my finger in the well of magic to make sure there wasn't a magazine in there, which I just pulled out. I am tortured three times. That way, if I did it out of order and twisted it once, I'd see one round go off, but if I see another round come out, I probably haven't got the magazine out yet.
So after twisting it three times, I close my open lip. If you are someone with very short thumbs, you can turn your body, but keep your face in line with the toilet bowl. So you open it and close it, then you look back. No magazine, and you put your finger in the room to make sure there aren't any around, and you look through the magwell to see the light. You check both visually and tactilely to make sure the firearm is fully unloaded. Now I was shown the toilets still open. With the button, you have to pull the trigger to get it separately. I don't want to disassemble any bullets in the magazine. I'm going to move the slide forward and, pointing at the toilet bowl again, I'm going to pull the trigger. Then I have to release the tension on the spring and pull it back a bit. It's a little small and when you do, you feel it click. Then the bar has a version here. This is a slide release, and you will need to pull it both times. Then the slide will come. It is direct. Now I have a map and I have slides. In the fall, I will take the exit from the source and the barrel into exile. We now have basically four main parts that we are starting to clean up.
Jeff: We now have a gun separated into four main parts: breech, recoil, spring, barrel and frame. If you get a nylon brush, you'll also want to use a toothbrush (but don't use a toothbrush) and brush off as much of the carbon as possible. You just want to use a brush and a nylon brush. You don't want to use metal bristles because you'll scratch things and rip the gun inside. Do the same with the slide. Go well, and the barrel. Go ahead and click, download more.

If you have a really tough carbon buildup and want to get rid of it, I recommend something that doesn't smell like a clean breakthrough. A spray that is odorless and odorless that you can make at home. That would be lean for a while. Then you go with q-tips. Look around and you will find dirt. Do not leave large cotton swabs from a cotton swab inside the gun. Once you have that and you see the q-tips getting dirty here and you go through a few q-tips, do it nice and clean.
Now you need to assemble your gun and weapon and lubricate them, but before that you need to clean the inside of your barrel. What I recommend to you is the odious serpent. Like an ugly snake, it has a weight at the end, it has a thread and it has this fabric. It has a built-in bristle brush directly inside. Now it's metal, but it's a softer metal than your gun, so you won't scratch your gun. If you see a little coal in a feedlot here or there, you don't want to grab something sharp, hard metal and scratch it. All of these things have an end in them, and you don't want to lose that goal. When the barrel is out of the gun, I drop the weight into the barrel. I get by, and I get by a few times now. He takes it twice. If you want to check that out and see how good the snake repellent does, you can see how good the snake repellent does, you can put a regular old game in your barrel and see that it doesn't. is not very dirty. all after crossing your snake there.
Now you need your lube ball 19. I have a very fine needle and only use engine oil, but you can use your favorite lube tube and lube channels. In the barrel, you lubricate where you stick. Place a ring around the barrel here and walk over it. Then the hood frame slides just as well where it rubs the top of the barrel. Then I have to plug in the lube, which needs to be removed here, and I put a little drip in safe.
Go forward and join the gun. Put the barrel back, we scare the spring and we want to put the cut. He has only to walk on these two rails. Some people think they start here, but here you start with railings.

Now to test the role of the gun. We're still gonna point that gun in the bathroom when we pull the trigger, and I'm gonna
